About Grace

I retired in 2003 from a very rewarding and successful 25 year career as a Financial Services Manager in the Retail Automotive Industry. In April of this year I decided to take my passion for food and start to write my own food blog. I have enjoyed it immensely and I have learned so much in a very short period of time. I have so much more to learn and I am looking forward to every minute of it. I have met some truly wonderful people in the food community and I have found the group to be very warm and welcoming. I am widowed and I am a Mom to teenaged children.

History of the blog
I initially started the blog for fun, a way to share my love of food with people that shared the same passion. I quickly realized that blogging helped to bring a little of me back to the forefront. I was forced to retire early from a successful career due to an injury and I missed working. I missed the competitive spirit, being successful, making a difference and I realized I could bring a little of me that was missing back. I've been blogging now for 5 months and I think it may be time to start monetizing and quite frankly I am unsure how to begin that new chapter.

Future plans for the blog
I have a huge series planned that consists of celebrity interviews and a tie in to a widely publicized food story.
