About My Itchy Travel Feet

At My Itchy Travel Feet, The Baby Boomer’s Guide to Travel, Donna L. Hull writes about active travel for baby boomers. Using her personal experiences and reference as a travel writer, she advises boomers on where to go, what to do, where to stay, where to dine and how to prepare for an active trip. The site was launched in May 2008

History of the blog
Donna L. Hull has been publishing My Itchy Travel Feet since May 2008. Originally, she kept a personal travel journal at travelblog.com for family and friends. Since it was also open for public viewing, she soon began receiving questions about travel. She started My Itchy Travel Feet to address those questions as well as to develop an online presence for her writing business. She recognized a lack of information on the internet for baby boomers, like herself, who seek out active travel experiences.

Future plans for the blog
After a redesign scheduled for completion in February 2010, My Itchy Travel Feet will sport an updated look. Demanding 2010 travel plans, both international and domestic, will provide fresh content on traveling the California coast via Porsche, ballooning in Utah, discovering off-the-beaten-path jewels on a southern U.S. road trip, exploring northern Italy and sailing on a 21-day trip aboard Sojourn, the new ship by Seabourn. The blog will also be using video clips starting in 2010. Donna's popular product reviews will include noise-cancelling headphones, travel apps for Droid phones and high-end travel gear.
