About Rigval

Was born in 1972. Married with one child. Cars are a passion of mine, along with watches (a collection of diver watches mostly) and fountain pens (namely 1950s,60s & 70s Parker). My day job requires me to manage a business that deals in security/defense related equipment, which is a pretty interesting job to have too.

About Motoring-Malaysia - Where I Speak My Mind About Motoring

I do motoring reviews with a twist. And a hatred for MPVs. The site was launched in August 2006

History of the blog
I launched it in August 2006 because I was bored and I thought to myself "Hmmm...Motoring Journalism. How hard can it be? At the end of 2009, I started contributing articles/news/test drive reviews for MyAutoBlog.org, a Singapore based website which is under mycarforum.com. The No.1 car/car club forum in Singapore. Motoring-Malaysia now affiliates itself with this website, by linking postings from it (on the site, facebook and twitter). Sometime in the second quarter of 2010, I also started writing editorials and other articles (test drives, etc) for CarThrottle.com, a UK based website which focuses on Performance Cars. I am now an Associate Editor for Car Throttle. Motoring-Malaysia now associates itself by linking articles that I wrote for them back to the site (as well as on Facebook and Twitter). The site is also stated on Car Throttle in the 'About' section of Car Throttle.
