Humor. Most beauty blogs are relatively dry and no-nonsense. I take a different approach by injecting humor and lightheartedness into the mix. I have a strong voice. And it works. ;) The site was launched in 02/2010

History of the blog
Crunchy Betty was borne out of a deep obsession with trying all the beauty recipes I could find in magazines. In addition, it offers readers a lot of insight on home remedies and ways they can take responsibility for their own health without turning to pharmaceuticals.

Future plans for the blog
Eventually, I'd like to have a network within the blog that focuses not only on natural beauty and organic skincare, but real (healthy foods), spirituality and self-help, and a more extended kids' section. But for now, beauty is the main focus - and an 11,000% growth in 3 months means it's definitely something I'll give top priority to for quite some time.
