About Resha

I'm a 30 year old beauty blogger and massive nerd at heart. I design and code websites for a living, and all things beauty-related is my passion and hobby, along with cooking ;) I love how fast paced the cosmetic and beauty market is, with new products coming out every day, you're bound to never be bored. I approach all things beauty-related with an extreme common sense approach, and I try to keep things simple and straight to the point to avoid confusing the reader. I became a beauty blogger to have a voice in this large community. I also love helping people out with their decisions whether its which eyeshadow to use for a specific event, or which body lotion prevents dry skin. It also allows me to be creative and girly since I don't really have that outlet from my 9-5.

Something not commonly know about Resha:
Lot's of people have referred to me as an internet trendsetter. I'm very honest and humble and I happened to design my website myself.

AccidentalBeauty specializes in beauty and cosmetic reviews, makeup application and tutorials and so much more. I feature a wide variety of luxury, high-end and mid/low-end products to create my looks with and review for the public. Every post is written by me, and my target audience is any and everyone who's interested in the latest beauty trends, products, tools, news and information. I inject my raw personality and quirkiness into each post so that nothing comes across as scripted and boring. I am also extremely honest and I tackle each subject and or product with a much needed common sense approach. The site was launched in April 2010

History of the blog
AccidentalBeauty launched publicly in April of 2010. So far, it's been doing extremely well and showing up on the very first page of tons and tons of relevant google searches.

Future plans for the blog
I plan to expand my audience and play everything by ear. Because I'm relatively new in the beauty-blogging world, my first main focus is just to gain a wider audience and keep them coming back for more. I'm investing in serious tools that will allow me to take even better photos and videos to post on youtube so people can see how I apply makeup more clearly.
