About Sarah George
I am a student currently studying towards my Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism.
I love to write and I love everything surrounding the topic of beauty, so I was keen to combine the two and create an informative blog to help party girls (like me) find the latest news, advice and tips from the industry.
I only blog part time as my course is my first priority, but I could easily do it as a full time job and would enjoy working on the site to make it better for my readers.
Something not commonly know about Sarah George:
I am a part time Zumba instructor as well and love to keep fit in a fun way!
Sarah George in the press:
I have held work experience placements at various publications, including Heat magazine and on the online desk at OK magazine. I am passionate about the industry and cannot wait to give my writing skills full priority in a job I love to do.
Sarah George is also the editor of:
www.sarahblurb.wordpress.com

About Paint The Town Scarlet
I think my blog is unique because it covers a wide breadth of hair and beauty topics, with a particular focus on party hair and make-up advice, news etc.
I also enjoy interviewing people and so far have interviewed girl band Electrovamp, as well as make-up artist Kirsty Rowlands for the blog.
I blog regularly in order to keep content fresh and keep my readers coming back for more. I would love Paint The Town Scarlet to gain a wider readership and gain further recognition.
History of the blog
I launched the blog as it was a prerequisite for my course. However, I have found it has become one of my main interests simply because I love to write and the satisfaction of people enjoying to read it is second to none.
Future plans for the blog
I will continue to blog regularly and maintain similar content. However I would also like to set up a Flickr account for readers to share their make-up looks. I also wish to further my skills in multimedia by offering videos and recorded interviews to make Paint The Town Scarlet more interactive. I also want to expand the site so it doesn't look so much like a typical blog - once I have enough content I will begin to develop the site further.I would love for PTTS to eventually house a discussion forum.
