A Best Beauty Blog

I'm 24, a college graduate and have a B.A. in English with a writing emphasis and a minor in Journalism. I've always had a passion for writing and makeup, so I decided to combine the two and hope to make a full-time career out of this. I love anything and everything artistic and creative and truly believe makeup is an art-form. In addition to beauty blogging, I'm currently working on two novels and a variety of poetry. I also have an extreme love for music - Rock concerts are my favorite. I love animals and have two dogs that are extremely loved and cherished.

Something not commonly know about Sosha:
I'm the first person in my family, both immediate and distant, to attend and graduate from college. I live in an extremely small, conservative, southern town where being colorfully creative and different is usually frowned upon. However, I've always let my creative light shine even though everyone around me tries to turn it off. By age six I was writing poetry and at seven, I wrote my first short story. I experimented with making my own lipstick shades when I was in elementary school and even started a mini-business where I sold my drawings/art to fellow classmates for a dime each (haha). I literally become ecstatic when I discover new and amazing beauty items, bands, art, books and etc., that no one else has heard of before. Most people tried to discourage me from becoming a writer and told me there was no way I could work for a magazine like I desired, and then my junior of college, I landed an internship at one of the only magazines within 30miles of here. I think I'm a great example of someone who has all odds going against them, but remains true to them-self and never gives up.
