About Robin

Since being a beauty obsessed little girl playing in my mom's makeup bag, I have loved the idea that with the right products, anyone can be transformed. Over the years that love has only intensified to include a love of all things fabulous, beauty, fashion, and everything in between. I started blogging in 2009, as an outlet for my obsession with beauty products. I absolutely love trying new cosmetics, skin care, treatments, hair care, fragrances, and everything in between and reviewing them. Beauty blogging has become a real passion for me, and interacting with my readers and fellow bloggers makes this experience all the more enjoyable. It's so much fun to connect with my fellow beauty junkies. This community is one I am very proud to be a part of.

I love trying new products, in pursuit of "Holy Grail" products that we are always endlessly in search of. My product reviews have and always will be my 100% honest opinion. My reviews tend to be quite in-depth, giving my readers every possible pro and con of a product, so that they can decide if a particular product is worth purchasing. I absolutely love getting emails from my readers, asking me to review a particular product, telling me that they have a new favorite thanks to something they saw on my blog, or just chatting about beauty and sharing our favorites. The site was launched in April 2009

History of the blog
I founded The Beauty Barbie in April 2009, as an outlet for my obsession with beauty. I had thoroughly enjoyed reading others' beauty blogs (as I still do!), and decided it would be fun to start a blog of my own.

Future plans for the blog
Future plans for The Beauty Barbie include a new layout and fun widgets that I hope others will find useful, continually incorporating my readers in the blog and bringing them the very best content that I possibly can, and continuing to bring fun, informative, and extensive product reviews.
