About Sara Kosmyna
I'm a licensed cosmetologist from NJ with over five years of professional hair, skin, and nail care experience. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College, and I'm currently working on an editing certificate from NYU. I enjoy writing about tips for beauty and essential tricks for any regimen. I'm especially interested in natural and organic products, and I love reading beauty books and magazines. My work has appeared in Crone Magazine, “The Stall,” An Unconventionalist’s Truth,and on the blogs yellowbrickroad.com and beautyblunderblog.com. In my spare time, I take care of my six furry friends, two of whom are on my face.

Everyone loves the way I shape eyebrows! I've been doing mine since I was nine years old, so I've had plenty of time to make mistakes on myself and learn what works well. Tweezing and shaping brows is actually one of my favorite things to do.

The Beauty Blunder Blog is a new site dedicated to all things beauty, and fans are encouraged to comment, send in their beauty blunders, and become a part of the conversation. Though it's a new site, page views have increased tremendously since it launched. The site was launched in March 2011

This blog was originally home to An Unconventionalist's Truth, my first nonfiction blog, created in 2008. Since switching to a more focused niche, the blog has received praise from a much larger audience.

I have a lot of fun plans for the blog, including a new format, more posts, pictures, and video tutorials. The Beauty Blunder Blog is just getting started!
