I'm a brunette, young 20-something wanna be 50's pin up girl. I love EVERYTHING that makes me feel beautiful, sexy and glamorous - skincare, makeup, hair products, fitness regimes - you name it. I provide extremely detailed product reviews, personal experiences with makeup/hairstyling/weigh loss, and helpful tips for improving your look and feeling confident at the same time. I want every woman to feel sexy, glamorous and beautiful. The purpose of my blog is to help women feel more secure in their bodies. The point is - everyone can look and act like their favorite pin-up girl! Sure, sassy makeup and luscious hair help, but the real way to become pretty like a pin up girl is to truly feel beautiful inside and out.

Something not commonly know about Emmy Hudson:
I decided to become a beauty blogger because I realized that there is not one blog out there that has everything I'm looking for. I wanted a website with reviews, tips for beauty and life, as well as funny and interesting anecdotes. I know so much information about the beauty world - I'm a fact junkie - and I love trying out new beauty products. I figured - Why can't I start my own blog? So I did. I blog in my spare time (I have a full-time job in the telecom industry - random I know). I absolutely adore blogging. I find myself constantly working on the blog from the second I get home from my real job. It's quickly becoming a passion.

Pretty Like a Pin Up is an original take on a beauty blog. Never before has a blog been focused on providing detailed information on beauty products, with a vintage spin. Pretty Like a Pin Up focuses on helping women discover their inner pin up girl by showing them ways to look and feel more confident and of course, sexy. The site was launched in July 11

History of the blog
I created this blog because it is the blog that I want to read. I have always had a fascination with the curvy, vivacious, alluring pin up girls of the mid-20th century. I believe their type of beauty is what makes women really feel sexy and what men really find attractive. I know that women want to know how to be irresistible without feeling slutty - Pretty Like a Pin up is the key.

Future plans for the blog
My blog is very new, so I will really be marketing it in the upcoming months. I am in the process of writing reviews for many different products and they will make it on to the site very soon. I have the drive to make this blog successful. I love what I'm doing, so it's already a success for me!
