I'm a 30 something graphic/web designer & digital artist who loves all things beauty & fashion. I started the DivaShop blog because I was inspired by other beauty & fashion blogs that I came across. I also love technology, so I'm really thrilled when I get to write the occasional post about something that is a merging of beauty/fashion & technology! My Blog's Purpose? I just love to dish on beauty & fashion. Whether it's a cool find, or bargain, a cool link, or a product review, I love it & have lots of fun bloggin' it!

DivaShop is beauty (& a little fashion thrown in) for those on a tight budget. It's all about finding the good among the inexpensive or showcasing something new & exciting! DivaShop is budget beauty. The site was launched in January 2006

History of the blog
I started the DivaShop blog in January of 2006 because I was inspired by other beauty/fashion blogs that I came across. At first I focused on fashion, but then I developed a love for makeup & eventually that changed. Earlier on I noticed that a blog focusing on budget beauty (most were all about MAC & other brands in & above that price range) was rare. Budget beauty was all I could afford & I knew that I wasn't alone in that.
