About Renee

My career in the fashion/beauty world really began in college where I was able to intern at Honey Magazine in NYC. I settled in Public Relations..promoting entertainment, corporate, and literary clients. However, my first love is the beauty industry and with all the reviews and suggestions I shared with my friends, I decided to put it all in one place, A Beauty Loft.

Something not commonly know about Renee:
I've had the chance to work on some amazing accounts in the past--Lil Kim, Rick Ross, and others. I also got the chance of a lifetime when I was featured in a full page Glamour magazine ad for Fresh Look Color Contacts. A Beautista's dream!

About A Beauty Loft

There are a ton of really great beauty blogs out on the web. I try to include a little of everything in the blog--just as a glossy mag would--features, reviews, how-to, celebrity looks, etc, but from my personal perspective, as opposed to beauty editors. The site was launched in June 2010

The blog is still young, but growing everyday!

Future plans for the blog
I'm almost ready to launch the directory portion of the blog---women across the US can find a salon or spa right in their vicinity. Also in the works is a community for those that love videos, as well as an event section!
