My name is Natalie, or Natty to most people. I am 24 years old and I reside in The Windy City, Chicago, Illinois where I was born and raised. I created 'Miss Natty's Beauty Diary' back in June of 2009 to express my love for beauty, fashion, writing and photography with others.

About Miss Natty's Beauty Diary

The focus of my blog is ‘beauty’ and anything in general that will make a woman look and feel beautiful. I’m not a professional makeup artist – I’m just a girl with an extreme love and passion for beauty. I love trying new products, and even more – I love sharing my thoughts with all of the other girls out there who love make-up just as much as I do. In my reviews, I do a quick overview of the product, the ‘product claims’ and usually the shade selection of the particular product. Then, I will describe the product as best as I can – The color, texture, coverage, smell, etc, along with my opinion of the product overall. I also provide several photos (with great color accuracy) per review along with product swatches so I can be as helpful as possible to my readers. The site was launched in June 2009

History of the blog
I first started blogging back in 2009 as a hobby and really developed a passion for blogging as time passed on. In the recent past couple of years, beauty blogging has flourished – aiding millions in their quests for cosmetics that will deliver. The main goal of my blog is to be one of the top online resources for honest and in-depth beauty reviews and to make those out there who read my blog’s shopping experience easier. Many come to me for recommendations because they know that I have a lot of experience with makeup, have tried many products and am completely honest with my thoughts – After all, because I have no affiliation with the brands I review, my opinions are always trusted and because the girls who read my blog are just like me, I'm totally relatable!

Future plans for the blog
I have several big plans in store for my blog in the near future - can't wait!
