A Best Beauty Blog

My blog is a vehicle in which to document my adventures (and misadventures) with makeup and other beauty items. I am a late 20s gal that is suffers from breakouts and fine lines; most ladies my age feel that the blogging industry is filled with people much older or much younger. I feel like my sense of voice is strong in my writing and I keep my personality throughout. I enjoy all ranges of beauty: from drugstore options all the way to higher end brands. I am completely honest in all of my reviews and I do go out of my way to thoroughly try out products before posting information on my blog. The site was launched in March 2011

History of the blog
I have always been someone who gave advice to friends about this beauty product or another and have been active in the online makeup community for the last 10 years. I started my blog really sort of as a diary for myself. I started by uploading "Face Of The Days" (or makeup looks) and listing out all the products I used. I wanted to be able to look at the picture and recreate it with the actual products. My blog started catching on and my readers asked me for reviews of the products I would use and it just grew from there. I now post multiple times a day/week and enjoy doing YouTube videos. I also have a strong sense of community with my readers.

Future plans for the blog
I am increasing the availability I have with my social media accounts, I am also going to be doing videos on YouTube weekly. I am also looking into other topics to include on My Newest Addiction Beauty Blog.
