I am a professional makeup artist currently working within film and music videos in Scotland. I became a beauty blogger when my friend suggested I start my own beauty advice column as she was constantly asking me for advice.

About Lipstick and Lipslips

My blog is a no holds barred take on all things beauty. I write my blog the same way I speak to my friends so occassionally there is a little sweary word. I have had many of my followers praise me for telling things like they are and not sugar coating them. They like that they can relate to me and the way in which I write. The site was launched in July 2012

History of the blog
My blog was launched in July 2012 after a friend of mine asked me for makeup advice and suggested I start a beauty column. Since beauty blogs are the new columns it seemed a good idea to start one. I like to also include my professional work within my blog so I publish pictures from photoshoots and weddings that I have been working on as a makeup artist.

Future plans for the blog
I would love my blog to become massive in the future so I will continue to strive to write the content that my followers love. Once my career rises I hope my blog will too.
