I am a stay at home mother with one darling daughter who takes up most of my days. But after the baby's in bed I am a full time beauty blogger. I blog because I genuinely love it. I love it when my reviews help influence my readers, and I love it when people try my tutorials. I have always been highly artistic and have always been eager to try new mediums. I was introduced to high fashion makeup and fell in love. Next thing you know I was buying tons of makeup, playing with different gradient effects, and developing all these techniques and opinions. And then, a beauty blogger was born.

KalamityJaneKosmetics is a beauty blog that largely focuses on makeup reviews and tutorials. I give non-biased reviews of products, and while I do have some favorite brands, I am always trying new things. The site was launched in July 2012

History of the blog
KalamityJaneKosmetics was launched in July 2012. I started blogging as a way to have fun and express myself. The more and more I blogged, the more I loved it and the more popular it became.

Future plans for the blog
I plan on scheduling some EOTD, FOTD, and weekly tutorials, as well as doing makeovers on friends and family to show how to work makeup for people with different coloring than me and people in different age groups.
