Gemma Seager is the face behind Retro Chick. She has a degree in Media and Film Studies from Winchester University and has a varied career background including stints in Nursing, jobs in retail, customer services, IT and various administrative and managerial positions in offices that don’t bear thinking about. She loves writing, taking photographs, and sharing her very strong opinions with anyone who’ll listen. She’s loved dressing up ever since she got into fights at play school over who was going to wear the Princess outfit and always knew that one day she would find a way to combine all these things into a job. If you can call it that.

History of the blog
Retro Chick spent many years being miserable in a succession of boring office jobs, till one day she jumped ship to set up an eBay shop selling vintage and pre owned clothing to bring affordable style to the busy women of the world. Shortly after the blog was launched and has gone from strength to strength becoming the main focus of the Retro Chick business.
