About Monte
I am a food writer and the proprietor of Brick Kiln Kitchens LLC, a specialty foods company located in Bridgehampton Long Island. My company produces Monte's Ham TM and Monte's Ham Glaze TM which are only available at www.MontesHam.com. My hams are produced on small family farms in Upstate New York and cured there by Purdy and Sons, who have been carefully curing hams for four generations. Our hogs are pasteured and live on a diet of field greens. They are all natural and minimally processed using no nitrates or preservatives. Their naturally delicious taste is further enhanced by our all natural glaze which we make in Cutchogue Long Island in a certified Organic Kitchen. Our company helps family farms flourish and, because we give a sizeable donation to Food Pantries, we help feed the hungry with every ham we sell.
