About Victoria Brewood
I'm Victoria and I'm a 20-something from Manchester, UK. I am a travel writer and owner of travel blog Pommie Travels. After I graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2008, I decided to travel the world and work remotely. In addition to my own travel blog, I am also a featured writer for BootsnAll and World Nomads. I work as a freelance copywriter and offer social media consulting services for people and businesses wishing to expand their presence online.
Victoria Brewood in the press:
I have written featured articles for the likes of World Nomads and BootsnAll. In 2009 I entered a video competition called Vantastic Adventures run by World Nomads, and the prize was the chance to film a road trip around one of the states of Australia. I won, and spent 6 weeks driving around South Australia filming videos of my activities and adventures.

About Pommie Travels
I am a British girl, or in Aussie slang, a Pommie. After graduating university with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, I decided there was more to life than a 9 to 5 job. So I decided to backpack the world with a mission to sustain a life of travel and work remotely. Pommie Travels offers photos and stories to inspire you to travel, practical backpacking tips, reviews of hostels, thoughts on living life as a digital nomad and advice for newbie travel bloggers. The site was launched in July 2009.
