Travel is my life. I have a unique perspective on the world and express it with my art, photography and blog stories. From hitch-hiking the Sahara to getting caught in a deadly cyclone in Bangladesh to being arrested as a spy in Saddam's Iraq, there's been a lot ... travel experiences also include 100s of the world's greatest sights.

I have been totally nomadic - across 100+ countries since 1988 ... I live out of backpack and focus mostly on Africa, Asia, Latin America & the Middle East, visiting the world's great scenic, historic and cultural sights, while backpacking solo overland across entire regions. Some posts are crazy travel stories and others informative photo-essays, or impressionistic videos and art. The site was launched in 2006

History of the blog
Started as a website to promote my first art exhibition back in 2006 and soon developed into a travel blog and photography site.

Future plans for the blog
I intend to upload more archive - as most of my material remains offline, as I continue to publish new material. Travel e-books and prints will also soon be available.
