Christine Mielke is a 22 year-old JD/MBA candidate at Santa Clara Law and Business School in the Silicon Valley. She has a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from University of California, Irvine. She was born in Boston, MA, but she has been a California girl for over fifteen years, residing primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has a younger sister now attending college, a boyfriend of four years, and a love for her Labrador retriever.

History of the blog
Temptalia was launched in October 2006 primarily as an archive for Christine's makeup looks and tutorials. It slowly evolved into including makeup reviews, and as momentum grew, the blog became incredibly active and had a larger range of topics and posts available for readers to peruse.

Future plans for the blog
Temptalia continues to implement their strategy for success with increased presence and vigor. 2008 to 2009, we have already significantly increased our growth in all metrics. We look to continue that impressive growth in the year to come. We are also going to expand into video in the next year to increase our presence on YouTube.
