Something not commonly know about Martin Zwilling
After a successful career with IBM and several startups, my passion is nurturing the development of entrepreneurs by providing first-hand mentoring and business plan development. I’m the Founder and CEO of Startup Professionals, where I practice what I preach to startup founders and small business owners. I started writing the daily blog to spread the word, and understand the impact of social media. I now have a large online audience, including about 170,000 Twitter followers.

Startup Professionals Musings presents selected ideas and assistance to entrepreneurs and startup founders in finding business ideas, funding, executive mentoring, and business networking to incorporate a business, file patents, add an advisory board, and address operational issues. I believe the blog is successful because I write practical advice from my own years of experience as a business man, investor, and coach. My target is entrepreneurs of any age, gender, or background. I also try to maintain a people focus, with emphasis on leadership, motivation, and operating style.

Created December 30, 2008, for fun, and to help entrepreneurs and startups.

Additional exposure in the press
In addition to my blog, I now write an article a month for Forbes.com, and continue to work on syndicating my blog to other sites, like Alltop, Bloggersbase, and others. I also create news items daily in multiple LinkedIn business groups, Facebook for Business, and Reddit. Many articles are now translated to Russian, Turkish, and other languages, so I’m broadening my reach worldwide.
