I'm a really good singer and piano player. I thought about auditioning for Broadway shows when I was younger, but then went a different creative route!

Blog overview
I try to make each piece sound fun and informational at the same time. I want my readers to feel like they`re in the room with me while I`m telling them about the product. I also bring a lot of very unique, interesting coverage to the table, including interviews with top makeup artists and hairstylists that have not been seen anywhere else!

History of the blog
I started The Beauty of Life in January 2007. I have a background in beauty and fashion and wanted a way to talk about my love of beauty products in my own voice. I started it with two readers -- my mom and my best friend! But slowly it`s taken off and now I have at least 13,000 monthly unique visitors!

Future plans for the blog
I`m going to be doing a redesign, which I`m very excited about. Will also be launching some special features, taking on more staff members and looking for more advertising opportunities.

Additional exposure in the press
I`ve been featured multiple times on Glamour.com, BellaSugar, Allure and I Heart Daily to name a few. I was also recently featured in Woman`s World.
