Something not commonly know about Linda C Smith
I'm a wife [my husband is a senior software engineer and I couldn't begin to explain what he does], mom [two daughters, both married to wonderful young men] and grandmom to one beautiful little grandson. I’m also “mom” to an Amazon Double-Yellowhead Parrot named George and two little parakeets named Ruford and Pippin. My life is a busy one and highly fulfilling.

One of the purposes of "Linda's Business Blog" is to share information on small business, home-based business, solo-preneurship, direct selling and entrepreneurship. I’m an artist and consider the business of art akin to direct selling.
History of the blog
Another purpose of this weblog is to generate conversation and share ideas on business, on maintaining and growing home-based businesses and just business concerns in general. I come from a line of women entrepreneurs as my grandmother was a shop owner, my mother owned her own business as did my sister. I consider information key to helping people make good decisions for themselves so my goal is to share what I know and what I learn along the way.
Future plans for the blog
I continue to write about my central topics, always including real life examples as I come across ones that are relevant. I am currently writing my first book for home-based business owners.
